The wonderful Maria V. Snyder has graciously given us a signed copy of her book Poison Study to give away to one lucky winner!!

About Poison Study.....

Choose: A quick death…Or slow poison...

About to be executed for murder, Yelena is offered an extraordinary reprieve. She'll eat the best meals, have rooms in the palace—and risk assassination by anyone trying to kill the Commander of Ixia.

And so Yelena chooses to become a food taster. But the chief of security, leaving nothing to chance, deliberately feeds her Butterfly's Dust—and only by appearing for her daily antidote will she delay an agonizing death from the poison.

As Yelena tries to escape her new dilemma, disasters keep mounting. Rebels plot to seize Ixia and Yelena develops magical powers she can't control. Her life is threatened again and choices must be made. But this time the outcomes aren't so clear..

  8. The best book I ever read is kind of hard, because I love everything, but I'd have to say 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.

  13. Poison study is actually my favourite book ever because Yelana is such a strong, unique character who does everything she can to make the best of a series of bad situations and comes out on top. I'd love to win the copy because I lent mine to a friend who loved it so much I never got it back!

  16. The best book ever? That is hard. Poison Study is one of my all time favorite books, and I have read it more than any other book. But it would be hard to say I have only one favorite book.

  17. I really love the Sword of Truth series, the books of Brandon Sanderson and those of Ilona Andrews but the first book that jumped to my mind is Poison Study, I know it's a bit of a cliché to answer this question with the book that is given away, but it was the first book I read with a strong female character, a good portion of action and perfectly balanced with romance, which is why I would love to get a signed copy!!

  18. Why do you want to win this book?
I absolutely adore this entire series. I loved it so much that I wanted all my friends to read it. At some point, it was lost in all the sharing and I'd really love to have another copy! Re-reading my favorite books is oddly rewarding.

  19. I can't choose a favourite book, every book I read (like it or not), changes who I am and how I look at the world. The Poison Study books are definitely on the like list though, I am so excited for the NEW sequels to be released in the coming years.

  20. I don't have a favorite book, cause if a book entertained me I ABSOLUTELY love it!!!! Best book I've read lately would be the one I finished this morning Innocent Blood by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell.

Who do I want to wind Poison Study - because that book was amazing and in introduced me to a whole net set of characters that I fell in love with! When I read it I had no idea it was a trilogy. I fell in love with Yelena and Valek. I was so happy to learn there was more after it! Then I learned there was a fourth coming out and that excited me!!!!

  21. Because I think it might just be impossible to choose ONE book from the hundreds and hundreds I've read, I think I will just say one of the best book I read last year was Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. Thank you for the giveaway!!

  22. I, like many of the above lovely people, do not have a favourite book. I love nearly all of them that I read.

I would like to win a copy of Poison Study because unfortunately in my quest to get all of my friends to read it, it was misplaced by one of them and never returned to me. I love the book so much and I just reread it (through e-book) the other day. I much prefer paper to e-book however and would love to have a new copy of the book. Even if it isn't the same beautiful edition I had before.
